Whether using frozen pie crust or perfecting homemade pie crust from scratch, it weighs down the bottom of the pie dough to help reduce shrinking and keep bubbles from forming. Simply line the raw pie crust with parchment paper, lay the chain in a spiral shape from the center of the crust to its outer edge, then bake. Measuring 6-feet long, it works for various pie sizes, from 6-inches up to 12-inches. Its flexible beaded design allows for easy placement and removal.
