Description
Israeli or pearl couscous, is a toasted pasta shaped into tiny balls. It is a staple food in Jerusalem and is enjoyed around the world. It is gently boiled for 8-10 minutes and then steamed until all the liquid is absorbed. Fantastic with just a drizzle of olive oil, fresh lemon juice and salt and pepper, it can be used in many Mediterranean and Israeli dishes.
